Smetana’s symphonic masterpiece, Má vlast: Vltava, pays tribute to one of the most beautiful of all European rivers that flows through the Czech Republic. Exquisite photographic images of this majestic river will be projected and choreographed by Westwater Arts Photo choreography to the performance of the Acadiana Symphony. New Orleans International Piano Competition winner, Viktor Valkov, will perform the romantic Rhapsody by Rachmaninov. You will also hear works by Sibelius and Tchaikovsky.
