The Shreveport Symphony announces its 2010-2011 season on its new website

After signing a new two year collective bargaining agreement with the SSO musicians of Local 116 Shreveport in July, the SSO has announced this Labor Day week-end its new season of music via a revitalized webpage. Want to peruse the season brochure with details on the 6 Masterwork's concerts being presented? You got it. Feel the need to donate money or volunteer your services, buy tickets? There's a page for you. Want to HEAR the music for upcoming concerts (not excerpts, but the real music from beginning to end)? You got it. Just turn up your speakers. How does Mahler Symphony No. 1 (the Titan), Barber's Adagio for Strings and Knoxville Summer 1915 sound to you? That's the program scheduled for the SSO opening night Concert, Saturday November 13, 7:30 PM Riverview Theatre.

You don't want to miss this long awaited and anticipated first concert of the new season. Bring your friends to the musical event of the year, November 13.

See SSO new website below for more info.
