Public Radio - Red River Radio 89.9 FM Fall Fund Drive in Full swing - Jazz musicians live

Bassist Chris Allen, pianists Matt Harris, Winston Hall and drummer Galen Smith smoothed out the jazz last Monday evening from 8-10 pm in KDAQ's new studio at LSU-S on Youree Drive. The Fall Fund Drive is in full swing says Kermit Poling, KDAQ General Manager.

We will give away A Pair of tickets to see David Sedaris at the Strand each weekday morning at 9 a.m.

Our Fall Fund Drive starts Monday, October 14 and runs through Monday, October 28. Thanks to everyone who made a pledge during cyber day. Please help us move forward during our fall campaign by pledging your support online here or by phone at 800-552-8502. We'll be drawing every weekday morning at 9 am for a pair of tickets to see David Sedaris Live at the Strand. The show takes place at 8 p.m. on Friday, October 25th, 2013.  At the end of the drive we'll draw for an ASUS Laptop computer. During the drive we'll have other drawings and lots of exciting music including Airheart, Steve Howell, Chris McCaa, Tim Chauvin, Chris Allen & Friends, the Mansion Family, Ear Shot Graffiti, and AJ & The Two Tone Blues Band.
