Marshall Symphony Orchestra Concert coming Monday, February 22

The Marshall Symphony Orchestra will present its final concert of the 2009-2010 season February 22, 7:00 PM, @ the ETBU Concert Hall.
Featured will be Howard Hanson's Symphony No. 3
(The Romantic)

MSO Music Director Maestro Leonard Kacenjar

The Marshall Symphony orchestra in warm-up for the final concert of the season. Program will be the above mentioned Hanson Symphony, The Gliere Russian Sailors' Dance, and Sibelius' The Swan of Tuonela featuring Theresa Bridges on English Horn and David Jankowski on 'Cello.

A surprise encore ending for the program played with no intermission was the Theme from E.T.

Longview Symphony Orchestra Youth and Masterworks Concerts Feb. 2010


Longview Symphony Orchesta presents both Youth and Masterworks Concerts this week, the annual educational concert for area schools to be held Thursday morning and the Masterwork concert featuring Romantic Music from the Movies on Saturday evening 7:30 PM, both at Belcher Auditorium LeTourneau College. Music Director Tonu Kalam conducting.

The Masterworks concert with themes from Romeo and Juliette, Age of Innocence, On Golden Pond, Somewhere in Time, Dr. Zhivago, Casablanca, Titanic, The philadelphia Story.
