The West Edge String Quartet in concert tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 PM

You are invited to a free concert Sunday afternoon at 2 pm in the sanctuary of St. George's Episcopal Church, Bossier City.    The West Edge String Quartet will perform music of Mozart, Poling and holiday favorites from their Centaur recording.

    

Admission is free (donations welcome) and there will be refreshments served following the performance.

the West Edge String Quartet - Christmas around the World 2010

The West Edge String Quartet whose members are violinists Kermit Poling and Elizabeth O'Bannon, violist Borys Smolaga and 'cellist Ruth Drummond presented their Christmas Holiday Concert at Frost Chapel, First Baptist Church of Shreveport, Friday, December 10. The theme was Christmas around the world, a virtual musical tour of celebrations around the world. Included and played by quartet members were a mandolin, a triangle, a tamborine and a "quack quack".

SSMF and The West Edge String Qrt present concerts this week-end

The West Edge String Quartet composed of violinists Kermit Poling and Elizabeth O'Bannon, violist Borys Smolaga and 'cellist Ruth Drummond will join with 2009 Wideman Piano Competition Silver Medalist Lu Shen to provide a delightful concert featuring Chopin Preludes and the Dvorak Piano Quintet. Saturday June 5 - 7:30 PM FUMC Bossier City. A donation of $10.00 is suggested. Many thanks to Wideman's Lester Wilson for her support.
