A highlight of the Dvořák Festival is a special costumed semi-staged production of Dvořák’s opera masterpiece, Rusalka in a co-presentation of The Opera San Antonio and the San Antonio Symphony.  Inspired in part by the well-known Hans Christian Andersen tale, Rusalka tells the story of a young mermaid who makes some questionable choices in her blind pursuit of true love. Delight in this operatic masterpiece, live and onstage at the magnificent Majestic Theatre!
