Eliot Haas, son of Kristina and Peter Haas of the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra, plays both 'cello and piano and at the young age of 15 has been a musician since the age of three, playing in ensembles with his brother Issac and his parents. He is a sophomore at Magnet High School, has won honors in piano and participated in the Louisiana Allstate orchestra for two years. In recent months he has played in several professional orchestra performances such as FUMC, Marshall and FUMC, Shreveport.
Playing both piano and 'cello in his recital Sunday March 11 he will be accompanied on two selections by his piano teacher Joy Ratcliff.
