FUMC Shreveport Sunday service 3-13-2011 and upcoming Festival Encore 4-3-2011

FUMC Choir Director Will Andress loves conducting orchestra and choir together. After all is said and done, vocal and instrumental music is the best way to go! Ray Peebles is organist for FUMC.

Last Sunday March 13 was a great day for choir and brass at the morning service. Three trumpets, four Horns and three trombones. Tom Hundemer who contracts for FUMC was out of town so was not available. However, those of us who did play certainly got in the groove. Photos below

** On Sunday afternoon, April 3, 4:00 PM, FUMC will present the annual Festival Encore for those of us who love choir, organ and orchestra music. Will Andress will conduct the FUMC Chancel Choir and David Hobson directs the Centenary Choir.
