Marshall Symphony Orchestra - Jeans 'N Classics - Saturday 9-17-2011

Marshall Symphony begins its Diamond Jubilee 60th season with Symphony in the Square, Jeans and Classics, Music from the Jersey Shore, Saturday night September 17, 2011 7:00 PM. Join us in the historic downtown Marshall Square for music of Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons, "the Boss" Bruce Springstein, and Jon Bon Jovi with the Jeans and Classics Band and your Marshall Symphony Orchestra.


Shops in the square will be open. Food and drink, picnic and concert seating available. Relive your teens or your 30's 40's and 50's again and dance to the music, like Dancing in the Dark, Born in the USA, Can't Take My Eyes off You, Rag Doll, Sherry, Wanted Dead or Alive, Celebrate.

9/11 . . . . 10 year anniversary concert - East Texas Remembers - a tribute to the victims and heroes - presented by Kilgore College Sunday 9-11-2011

Kilgore College presents a free concert tribute to the victims and heroes of 9/11 at Dobson Auditorium, Kilgore College - 6:00 PM 9-11- 2011 .  Patriotic and inspirational music conducted by Jim Taylor, Director of Choral Activities at Kilgore College, will be presented by a 150 voice adult choir, a children's choir, vocal soloists and a full orchestra of professional musicians.
