Keyboardist Winston Hall and Bassist Chris Allen made everyone in the audience want to dance to the music at KDAQ's new studio facility tonight, a live music presentation for the Spring fundraiser which also was streamed online from 8:00 to 10:00 pm. Make sure the arts are supported in our area.

On Saturday, January 26, 2013, the Longview Symphony Orchestra's longtime beloved Concertmaster Emeritus, Dr. Isidor Saslav, passed away in Tyler, Texas. In a tribute to him, Maestro Kalam and the members of the orchestra will dedicate the March 2nd concert to Dr. Saslav's memory.

Concertmaster Mark Miller will be performing the Meditation from "Thais" by Jules Massenet, one of Dr. Saslav's signature works. We hope you will join us on this memorable occasion.
